[Illsyore’s point of view]
In a galaxy far far away, in a Universe maybe not so far but not so close either, I ended up holding for dear life on the outer platting of what I believed was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer... Now, how did I know this? Well, in my previous life, while I was a recluse for the most part, I was no stranger to Sci-Fi and definitely not completely oblivious to the most popular franchises out there. However, if there was one in which I would have wanted to drop... this was not it, STAR WARS WAS NOT IT!
I mean, certainly, space wizards wielding lightsabers, flying in spaceships and fighting in a galactic war sounded fun on the big screen but NOT when you were actually a part of it. Every time one of those big ships went boom on the screen, and they went boom a LOT, thousands of people died inside. Not to mention the countless lives lost on the battlefields down on the planets. The movies and TV series only revealed a few shots, but they did well to hide the atrocities and the piles of dead bodies out there.
At least I hope I’m not during the time when the Sith were ruling over the galaxy as an empire... What led to that again? Order 69? That was probably it... I thought to myself while I saw a bunch of TIE Fighters whooshing past me. Of course, in space there was no sound, so I could only imagine it like in the movies.
“Open Status.” I said and then looked at the window that only I could see.

“Well, everything seems to check out... NOT! I may be a pervert sometimes, but I’m NOT a Godlike Pervert! What even is that?! Also, what do you mean by a Donut divided by Pizza and to it added a Salami?! What am I?! A sandwich?!” I retorted, but my screams fell on deaf ears in the void of space.
I scrolled down to look at my skill list and everything was out of whack. The names of the spells, the values for their consumption, everything was jumbled up as if something was greatly interfering with my Magic Energy, although, I had no idea how they could even mess with my Divine Energy unless they were gods or some sort of godlike entity. At the very least, I knew that my Magic Armor still worked. I was out in space, but I had no problems breathing. My strength values did not seem to have decreased since I could easily hold onto the plating of the ship, my fingers were digging into the armor.
The only problem is if I have enough Magic Energy to do anything... I thought and then looked to my left at one of the TIE Fighters, which suddenly stopped and approached me.
Well, it was a good target as any...
With my hand aimed at the incoming vessel, I extended my Dungeon Territory until it covered the ship and then used a Dungeon’s most specific ability... Absorption.
In the next second, I felt a tiny and insignificant amount of Magic Energy being used and then the TIE Fighter vanished in thin air, leaving the pilot to float around like a sack of potatoes. Upon realizing that his vessel suddenly vanished, he struggled and tried to awkwardly swim towards the big spaceship, but before I could even use [Telekinezy] to pull him over, another TIE Fighter slammed into him, killing him on the spot. This, however, resulted in the vessel losing control and slamming into one of the of the big guns on the ship, the turbolasers or whatever they were called.
I was surprised by this sudden unexpected display of fireworks, but I did not really feel bad about the pilots dying. They were, in theory, a part of the bad guy’s army and also some sort of clones. Unless I was in that time period when all of the imperial forces were actually conscripted civilians. Either way, my moral sense was not tingling, so I presumed I did nothing bad… Well… that or my instinctive desire as a Dungeon to feed on other living beings kicked in. Hopefully, it was not the latter.
“Anyways…” I shrugged and then looked around for an entry point.
There was a hatch of some sort around 10 meters away from me. I moved towards it while a bunch of other TIE Fighters flew towards the area of impact. This accident probably woke up everyone on this ship, but that did not matter to me.
“Hm... Do I really need to hold onto these plates? Can’t I just make a hole for myself? Ah, right! Atmospheric pressure and the possibility of some sensor letting them know that I’m here... Hm. OK, let’s go there.” I said as I resumed my climb towards the hatch.
Opening it was a matter of using good ol’ brute strength. This ship was neither enchanted nor strengthened with special materials. Ripping out the bolts with my hands was an easy thing to do given my immense strength.
I then jumped inside and used my magic to repair the hatch. As the room was being pressurized, I noticed that I could easily read the strange scribbles on the warning sign. They were unfamiliar, but for some reason, I could understand them. Was this gift a part of my sudden transmigration to this Universe?
After the room was pressurized, I stepped out and was met face to face with a Stormtrooper.
“What a bad timing.” I sighed.
“YOU! Stop right there!” and then fired at me. The shot missed completely.
“Yeah... how about no?” I replied with a smile as I rushed up to him and punched him in the stomach.
“GAH!”
“Well, sleep for now.” I said and then with a smirk on my lips, I used my ability to absorb his armor and the tossed him inside the airlock chamber.
Using my Inner Mind, I analyzed the structure of the armor and made a copy for myself in my own size. Honestly, this thing was a piece of junk when compared to my powered armor, so... I decided against using it. Instead, I applied an illusion spell on myself to make it seem as though I was a bona fide Stormtrooper.
“Why is this ridiculous armor even in use? Am I missing something?” I wondered as I walked out of the airlock.
I was slightly taller than them, so I had to correct my height with the illusion. As for the weapon, it was interesting in construction, but it could not match the AGLMC in my hands. The power output was completely different. Mine could probably cut this entire ship in half as long as I did not need to go through its shields.
“So, let’s go explore!” I declared to myself as I made a pose with my hand aiming at the ceiling.
“Hm? Is Greg alright?” a patrolling Stormtrooper caught me in the act.
“Maybe he’s still upset with 889 for winning against him in cards.” the other Stormtrooper replied.
With my dignity at hand, I changed my pose and clenched my fist, showing fury and anger “I will win next time!” I declared.
“Yep, Greg is frustrated... let’s go.”
The Stormtroopers ignored me and then went on their way.
Looking down at my hands, I could not help but wonder if I accidentally copied with my illusion the markings that displayed Greg’s name.
About three hours later of exploring and avoiding every single encounter with the clone troopers, I eventually found myself in front of the prison. What I learned so far was that we were in the year 14 AFE or 3272 LY of the Lothar Calendar. This Imperial Star Destroyer was one of the older models and was currently on the mission of transporting suspected Jedi prisoners and a group of force sensitive children to the Imperial Mantooine garrison in the Atrivis sector. The fate of the prisoners was a cruel one... the ones who were inclined more towards the darkness would be taken under a Sith Lord, while the others would be executed or imprisoned until they changed their mind. As for the suspected Jedi prisoners, they would be interrogated or transferred over to an Inquisitor on Mantooine.
Currently, there were 22207 imperials on board this ship, out of which 6890 were officers, 9300 were Stormtroopers, 275 were gunners and the others were essential crew responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the ship. There were also a total of recently captured 46 prisoners. The attack hangar also contained a heavily modified CR90 Corvette seized in a remote system. In other words, there were a lot of people here and a good escape ship for me. The only question was... if I saved the prisoners or not?
This was why I was standing now in front of the doors leading to their prison block for more than 10 minutes.
“Hm? What’s wrong trooper?” a sergeant asked.
“Hm, I was just wondering...” I replied as I looked at him.
“Do you think these poor prisoners have any chance of escaping from here?”
“Escape? From here? Are you crazy? There are 40 security droideka in there with their weapons ready to shoot them. If that isn’t enough, we can have you troopers rush here and overwhelm them with sheer numbers.” he laughed.
“Yeah, that does sound safe...” I said and then looked back at the door “But is it necessary to hunt down children like this?” I wondered as I aimed my hand at the door.
“Trooper? What are you talking about?” sensing something was wrong, the sergeant placed his hand on his pistol and took a step back.
“Who knows? But I’m certain my wives would kill me if they learned I left this place without helping. Besides, who knows when I’ll be able to return. If anything, I don’t want to be on this side of the front.” I replied and then cancelled my disguise.
“INTRUDER!” the man shouted and then shot at me.
The attack did not pierce through my Magic Armor.
“Absorb.” I said and removed the floor under his feet.
“AAAH!” the man fell to the lower level, right on top of three Stormtroopers.
I placed the floor back and then opened the doors in front of me. The moment I made my presence known, the droids activated and the Stormtroopers guards prepared to attack me.
“Hello! Hello! Greetings to all! This Dungeon Lord is making his humble presence known! Please allow me to take over your prisoners! Let us see... how about all of you droids deactivate and all of you cloned Mandalorians drop your weapons? Pretty please?” I asked with a smile.
“Attack!” they shouted and opened fire on me.
“Well, I tried.” I shrugged and then dodged their attacks.
In a fraction of a second I reached the first droid, a Droideka with its shields up. I was curious if they could withstand a flick from me, so I attacked it. The result was a beautiful flash of sparks, but it was unable to withstand my attack and faltered back. The sensor head was moving around as if it just received a shock, and I could tell that it was highly unstable on its three feet.
“How weak.” I smiled and then punched into the big part of its body that looked like a sphere, where I believed the reactor core was most likely located.
As I grabbed it, I pulled it out and the droideka was deactivated. I then absorbed both the reactor and the remains of the droid. Who knew how useful these remains could be for a Dungeon? After all, if I build my own Magic Energy powered Droideka with Magic Armor instead of a shield, I could probably cause a lot of trouble for the adventurers. Right now, they could probably be taken down even by a Master Rank.
“Now, let’s see... You!” I said and then rushed to the next one, this time, I punched through the shield, grabbed the sternum plate and then pulled it off together with its arms. The droid then deactivated, and I absorbed the remains.
“Kill him!” a Stormtrooper shouted as he punched the alarm, causing the protective doors to fall down and completely lock down this place.
“Oh, how scary! DOORS!” I laughed and then kicked the closest droid to me into the doors, but the impact only caused a small dent.
Smirking, I then aimed my hand at the Stormtrooper up there and called out “[Ice Spike]” the simplest and weakest spell, but it was enough to pierce through his chest and pin him to the wall behind him.
“[Wind Scythe] I cast at the droids.
14 Droideka were slashed in half, leaving only 23 functional.
“Your weapons can’t even scratch my Magic Armor, let alone my actual armor!” I laughed.
Fighting against the droids was so much fun that I was now seriously thinking about building a bunch of them for my academy once I got back. I was certain that my kids and the students there would love to mess around with them. After all, they did not appear to be that complex.
“Let’s see... How about a lightsaber for taste? Oh, well... something similar, maybe?” I smirked and took out a two-handed sword with a plasma blade attached to it.
The moment I turned it on, one of the children said in surprise “Is it a Jedi?”
“Oh, no, I’m not that weak!” I laughed and then created a wall in front of Droideka who decided to charge at me.
They slammed right into it and after canceling the wall, I pierced it with my sword. The shield proved useless against it. I then slashed to my left and cut a droid in half. Two more followed as I twisted my body and slashed the ones coming from my right. They were relentless and easy to destroy. The next one that got close, I stomped on him, crushing his rector. With another kick, I sent a droid crushing into the two behind it, then with a slash of my sword, I ended their misery.
The biggest difference between these droids, the Stormtroopers, and a band of adventurers back in my world was their relentless desire to attack and terminate their target. A steel machine neither bled nor felt any fear, while the troopers were trained to never retreat no matter the dangers ahead. On the other hand, the adventurers would get frightened and would do anything to preserve their own life.
The battle did not last long, and once it was over, the Stormtroopers were dead and all the droids were destroyed and absorbed. My Magic Armor was intact despite all the energy blasts I received and this was because it was designed to absorb and dissipate an energy-based attack far better than the shields of these droids. From what I knew about the Imperial Army, they had yet to develop any shield technology that was on par or even remotely similar to a Magic Barrier. They were still exploring the many possibilities and applications it unlocked.
After all, even the TIE Fighters were lacking a defensive barrier like this one. Then again, that was my current impression, and I could have been completely wrong. This Universe could be similar to the one I remembered from my previous life, but there was nothing yet to prove that everything imagined with regard to it was present in this one as well. The design of a character, a ship, or even a piece of technology in a movie would usually go through a number of iterations before being decided upon. Any number of those ideas could be the actual representation of reality. Honestly, I could not even tell that these droideka looked the same as those in my memories. It was a ball on mechanical legs with an arched spine at the tip of which was a sensor head. Its weaponry consisted of a blaster bolt energy riffle and a continuous beam laser. It had two wings on its back spine that generated the shield around it.
Well, that energy shield could probably repel attacks from both those Stormtrooper blasters and other projectile weaponry, but it was useless against my magic attacks, punches and kicks.
Turning my attention to the locked gates, I walked over to the closest one, where a woman with orange tails sticking out of her head was being held, tied up like a wrapped-up gift for Christmas. The barrier of the cell prevented me from entering, but instead of forcefully destroying it, I absorbed the device that generated it.
Entering the cell, I then untied her and asked “So, are you one of them monks that wield laser swords and fly around pretending they know everything?”
“What I am does not matter, but I thank you for rescuing us.” she replied and then furrowed her brow “What? Is there something on my face?”
“Yeah... what are you? I feel like I should know your species, but I can’t remember... Hm, what was it Twerkie? Twitty? Tabbitha? Something with T... Tinnitus? No, wait, that’s an illness.” I said as I scratched my head.
“You’re telling me you never saw a Twi’lek before?” she raised an eyebrow.
“YES! THAT!” I smashed my fist in my palm.
“Are you from some remote part of the galaxy?” she asked.
“Probably even a Universe, but honestly, I don’t know, I never ventured outside of my planet.” I shrugged.
“A primitive then?” she said and then walk past me and headed to the control room where the Stormtrooper was pinned to the wall by my ice spike, it had yet to melt.
Walking past the dead man, she approached the console and started flipping some switches. All the barriers were then deactivated and she walked out of there.
“The droids could be controlled from here as well... The big button here.” she said pointing at the console.
“But then, I would not have had that much fun ripping them apart!” I smiled.
She shook her head and then looked at the big gate.
“So, there’s a big ship in the attack hangar. Shall we head there?” I asked pointing at the door.
Instead of replying, she closed her eyes. I furrowed my brow as I did not know what she was doing, but one of the children walked up to me and held my hand. Looking down, I saw a little girl with big black eyes, antennas on top of her head, and a green skin.
“She’s communicating with the Force.” she said.
“The Force? Ah that mystical power thingy... Well, this is the first time I’m seeing anyone using it.” and I looked at her.
The woman stretched her hand forward and began to tremble.
“Is that supposed to happen?” I wondered.
“She’s calling her lightsaber. It’s connected to her through the Force.”
“The Kyber Crystal, right?” I asked.
“Yes.”
“Let’s see then.”
She stayed like that for another half a minute and then something came through the floor, a weapon with a hot orange blade made of plasma coming out of a metal handle. It flew around her once and then stopped with the handle at her hand. With a click, she turned off the power and then safely grabbed it.
“I’m going to admit. That was impressive.”
Opening her eyes, she then looked at me and said “I do not feel the Force within you... It’s as if you were never a part of it, but the Force is telling me to trust you.”
“Well, true... I’m not a part of the Force, I don’t have those tiny organisms in my body. I could probably make them, probably...” I then shrugged “But let’s not get into that subject. Do we need to rescue anyone else?” I asked.
“No one.” she shook her head.
“Are these kids all force sensitive?”
“Yes. We were on our way to a faraway planet on the edge of the Empire where I wanted to live in peace with them... hopefully training them to become future Jedi.”
“Well, I don’t know what your plans are, but for the reference... You might really want to rethink some of those Jedi tradition of yours... The Force is all about that balance thingy, right?” I said as I turned around and then cast an [Area Heal].
Seeing the wide area effect of energy that healed all of their injuries, they were all both stunned and surprised.
“The Balance is probably referring to the inner balance of every sapient being. Coming to peace with your darkness, accepting it as a part of yourself and then healing it while you make your inner light flourish. Initially, I was like you... I cast away my Darkness, but then it came to haunt me. It almost ruined me... but I was lucky to have my wives pull me out of it just in time.” I showed her a warm smile as I then walked up to the massive sealing doors.
“Why do you think you have the right to speak for us?” she asked.
“I’m not. I’m offering you an answer on a silver platter. Now you can take it and think about it deeply or ignore it and claim you already know everything, but you see... I’m an old goat now... If I count even my years in slowed time mode, then I’m over 1000 years now, so I might know a thing or two... But then again, I’m certain there were others before you who felt the Force and were a part of it... Ancient species, civilizations probably greater than the Empire is right now, but then they were gone. They went poof and vanished in the air!” I said and then laughed. “They probably had their own Jedi and Sith... they too separated them, so... where are they now?” I asked as I looked back into her eyes.
There was an expression of awe on her face. Although, I could not tell if she was surprised by how ridiculous my thoughts sounded to her or if they really clicked something in her.
“The Light Side or the Dark Side... concepts made by sapient beings and for the most part don’t represent the truth of the Universe. After all, if for example love finds its place in the heart of a Sith and a Jedi, the Universe itself, even the Force itself, does not actually dictate that they should not be together. Sure, there could be challenges, no one says it would be easy, but to declare outright that they can’t be together... That’s just the egoistic view of someone who wants to be in control.” I shrugged and then moved towards the door and absorbed it entirely in my inner mind.
With the path opened, I stepped forward and my Magic Armor bounced off the blasts of several Stormtroopers.
“[Chain Lightning].” I cast and they were zapped by my spell.
“How can you do this if you don’t wield the Force?” she asked furrowing her brow.
“Because the Universe is far more diverse and beautiful than you originally think. The Force is just one of its many gifts.” I shrugged and then moved down the corridor.
“...”
I led the way to the hangar, destroying any droids we encountered and either killing or incapacitating the Stormtroopers. With me around, the little ones had no need to worry about their safety, and the Jedi who had yet to reveal her name, was doing a good job using the Force throwing the enemies around, closing the doors in their nose and securing the path behind us. As for the other adult prisoners, they were scavenging the weapons of the fallen enemies and using them to counterattack.
By the time we reached the hangar, it became clear that the Empire had nothing on board of this ship with which to stop us, but while seeing all this, I could not help but wonder.
“You know?” I asked as I crushed the head of a droid “These enemies they keep throwing at us are not that hard to kill, so...” I looked back at her “Why did you get caught?”
As she cut a droid in half with her lightsaber. “You don’t really have room for negotiations when the village you were protecting is being aimed at with a battery of turbolasers that can reduce it to ash.” she said and then continued “Although... maybe I should have fought until the end seeing how even after surrendering they still continued with their threat...”
“They bombarded the village?” I asked furrowing my brow, since I could not remember very well if the Empire was that vicious in the movies or not.
“Yes... alongside several other settlements as well. Officially, they claimed they were attacking enemy hideouts, but everyone knew that it was a warning to never stand up against the Empire.” she tightened her grip on the hilt of her lightsaber and looked down at the floor.
“Was it this ship that did that?” I asked as I knocked on the wall.
She nodded in reply.
“I see...” I looked up at the ceiling. “A crew with over 20000 people on board...” I said.
“20000? That’s a bit wrong, this ship should have 37000.” she told me.
“37000? Hm, well this is a ship that’s 1600 meters in length. An aircraft carrier could house 5000 crew... so does this mean that they are understaffed?” I wondered as I tilted my head to the right.
“This is an old ship that had yet to be upgraded at an Imperial Shipyard. That means we are lucky.” she mentioned.
“How so?” I asked.
“If we cause a commotion... like damaging the reactor, we could force them into abandoning the chase and instead focus on repairing.” she suggested.
“I have a better idea, but for that, we need to reach the hangar.” I showed her a smirk and then turned around. “It’s been a while since I did this... [Dungeon Territory] expand.”
Every Dungeon had their own Dungeon Territory which was the same as their own inner organs. They could spread it out for as far as their Magic Energy supply allowed it, and within that area, they could absorb and build anything they wanted within it, but it had many other features. It could act out as an aura in which I could sense anyone and anything. It was my species’ main characteristic and its strongest ability.
“Hm...” I tilted my head to the left “I think another ship just landed... They are all wearing black outfits.”
Hearing this, the Twi’lek Jedi looked at me and asked “How do you know this?”
“One of my... skills.” I shrugged and then asked “So, do you know who these new passengers might be?”
“I don’t know.” she shook her head... and then stopped and looked past me with a sharp look in her eyes. “Inquisitor... There’s an Inquisitor on board... Oh no...” she said as worry and fear showed on her face.
“I’m scarred... I don’t like this...” the children gathered together and hid behind the older rebels.
One of them, a muscular man with braided hair, furrowed his brow and took a stance “Don’t worry, kids, I’m not going to let the evil Empire take you again!” he declared.
“We’ll definitely protect you this time!” another shouted.
“I promised my childhood friend to marry her, so I’ll definitely keep you safe!”
“OI! The last one! Don’t raise any more death flags!” I retorted at him.
“Death... flags?” the Twi’lek tilted her head in confusion.
“Just a superstition... don’t worry about it...” I let out a sigh and then looked down. There was a path we could take to reach the hangars, and according to what I was feeling, the ship wasn’t traveling through space but rather was stationed and orbiting a planet. “I think we might have reached Mantooine or at the very least another planet on our way there.”
“We couldn’t have reached Mantooine, we are at least three weeks away from it...”
“Hm, maybe it’s a pit stop?” I shrugged and then moved forward.
“Wait, are we still heading towards the hangar?” she asked as she placed her hand on my shoulder.
“Yes, we have a ship there ready to be boarded and repurposed for our needs!” I told her.
“But what about the Inquisitor?”
“I hope their suit has something to help them survive in outer space.” I smirked.
“Huh?” she blinked surprised.
At this point, in order to make sure there was enough of a distraction for us, I installed several summoning circles on various decks. From within, monsters specialized in hunting humans in small corridors appeared... Imps, Dayuks, Goblinoids, serpents, spiders and slimes would begin to make their debut in this Universe... I left out the more dangerous fellows that could literally rip this ship apart. As a Dungeon, I could not help but enjoy the upcoming feast.
We did not take more than three steps and a ship-wide alarm went off. They were so confident about catching us that they did not initiate it for us, but with the appearance of the monsters on multiple decks, it was absolutely necessary now.
“Warning! Unknown species have invaded Decks 12, 16, 40, 65, 74, 86, 90, 100, and 114!”
The alarms beeped several times and the lights on the corridors turned red. I smirked.
“Did... did you do this?” the Twi’lek looked at me with big eyes.
“Maybe?” I smiled and then continued on my way.
As we traveled through the ship, now completely unhindered by the Stormtroopers and crew as they were busy with those monsters, I felt one of my circles vanishing. I stopped and looked up. “Deck 90, huh?” and when I looked there, I saw that Inquisitor as it was cutting down a Dayuk with his lightsaber. “Dangerous fellow.” I then continued to walk.
When we went down another deck and was just 100 meters away from the hangars, an imp appeared before us. The little creature with red skin, long ears and a big toothy smirk looked at us once and then ran off.
“Boots! Boots! Boots!” it kept screaming in their language.
“What was that thing? It felt... disconnected from the Force completely... like you.” said the Jedi.
“Well, it is.” I shrugged.
When we arrived at the hangars, there were twenty Stormtroopers waiting for us there. I stomped the ground and metal spikes popped out from under them, penetrating them through their armors and killing them on the spot. To my left, I saw a droid being activated and used [Chain Lightning] to zap it and its friends back into an inactive status.
“Well then! Shall we board the ship?” I asked as I looked at the docked CR90 Corvette.
That thing was only 150 meters in length, but it appeared massive to me, especially the back. All those engines there felt like they were a bit over the top. However, it was technically 100% functional and could be flown out of here by a skilled pilot.
“So... anyone know how to pilot that boat?” I asked the group.
“I can.” the Twi’lek replied.
“Good!” I smiled.
“I’m a ship engineer. I can help with the maintenance.” the rebel with braided hair said.
“And I know how to use a gun turret!”
“I can cook!”
They all had a unique talent that would help us in getting out of here. Still, I had to admit, that we were in luck to find this ship here. We could have had none and be forced to use one of the Imperial shuttles. I was getting the feeling that this Force thingy was currently on our side and helping us out through mysterious ways.
“Everyone get on board. I will keep guard!” I declared.
“Let’s go!” everyone then hurried to the ship, while I looked back at the corridor and with a flip of my fingers blocked the entrance with a metal plate. I did the same for all the entrances to this hangar while letting the non-combatant crew flee from the scene. Up in the hangar’s control room, there was already someone giving out orders and calling out for reinforcements.
At the same time, I felt two more circles being destroyed, one by the Inquisitor and the other by the Stormtroopers. But now, after hearing that we were in the attack hangar, they were making their way here. To be fair, I was a bit curious about how powerful a Force-Wielder truly was, and I did not feel like asking my new Twi’lek friend for a spar in the middle of an escape scenario.
Five minutes later, the reactor on the corvette was turned on and the engine’s first spark was lit. The Stormtroopers on all entrances were using metal cutters to get through the metal plates. Up in the cockpit of the CR90, I saw the orange-skinned Twi’lek Jedi who was looking back at me with a frown. Everyone around me was moving like busy bees, while I was waiting patiently for the final boss to make his appearance.
BZUHZZZ SCHVRMMM BZUHZZZ!
The distinct sounds of a lightsaber as it cut through a hard piece of metal came from the very path we came through.
CLANG!
The cut piece fell down, resounding throughout the entire hangar.
“HURRY! GET ON! WE HAVE TO LEAVE!” shouted a rebel as I watched a woman wearing full body black armor walking towards me menacingly.
“Get inside! AND CLOSE THE HATCH!” I shouted back.
“But...”
“JUST DO IT!” I shouted at him and looked up at Twi’lek. I gave her a nod, and she nodded back.
The corvette’s hatch was now sealed off and ready to fly away.
While she had no idea what I intended to do next, she probably felt through the Force that she should trust me.
“It appears that your companions are willing to abandon you.” the woman scoffed.
“Hm, I don’t think so.” I smirked and then dashed towards her.
She was surprised by my speed and lifted her sword in defense. I ran past her and landed a flying kick into the droid behind her. This one was a bit stronger-looking and bigger than the others, humanoid in aspect but a bit simplistic in construction. I did not recognize it because I could not remember if I had seen it before or not. The one next to it reminded of C3PO, a weakling that had more chances of stumbling on its own feet than posing a threat against a human. The Stormtroopers behind it, however, were a bit more dangerous, and I launched a [Wind Scythe] at them.
Their bodies were split in half before I even landed on the floor, and when I did, I cast a [Metal Spike], the same spell I used before, but this time aiming at the Stormtroopers in front of me. And to make things end with a blast, I cast a [Fireball] at the door. The explosion blocked the path and now I was left alone with the Inquisitor behind me.
“Impressive. Your use of the Force is impressive, why don’t you join the Empire? We offer many benefits!” she declared.
“Do you have cookies?” I asked with a smile.
“Erm... wookiees? If that’s your preference, I’m not one to judge... much.”
“Cookies not wookiees!” I retorted.
“I do not understand...”
“AH! THE MEMES WERE A LIE!” I cried out as I fell to my knees.
Surprised by my sudden comedy display, she took a step back, while I smirked and got back up on my feet.
“I don’t like joining Empires that are heading towards their own imminent self-destruction.” I straightened my back and winked at her.
“Insolence!”
“Certainty and science plus a lot of psychology, rather. I mean, what you are doing is EXACTLY what countless primitive Empires tried on various planets and failed miserably... above all... You don’t even understand the Dark Side.” I taunted and then raised the Magic Energy in my Magic Armor before I released it in the form of killing intent inside my Dungeon Territory.
A bloody misty formed around me and spread outwards, engulfing her completely, limiting her vision and senses while attacking her with killing intent from all sides.
“You see... the darkness...” I began to speak as my words spread around her.
“WHERE ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELF!” she shouted as she cut through the air, but the fog did not react to her lightsaber as any other gas would.
She could not dispel it or push it back. My fog acted as a gas but it was more an illusion magic formed on top of my Dungeon Territory.
“I’m here...” I sent a whisper from behind her.
“WHERE?!” she cut through empty space.
“Or maybe here?” I sent a whisper to her left.
Again, she cut through empty space. Using [Telekinezy] I then tapped her right shoulder, and she jumped back.
“Or maybe here?” again, behind her.
“Or here?” I sent a whisper coming from the floor under her.
“I’LL KILL YOU!!!” she shouted in anger and used the FORCE to push back a TIE Fighter docked in front of her.
“Well, this is the thing, you know... The Dark Side is overwhelming you; it controls you, but try as you might, you still don’t understand it. The destruction, the suffering, the ecstatic joy that comes when you are spreading destruction around you... You don’t truly understand them... you just mimic and act without realizing what truly increases the power of darkness.” I said as I slowly approached her.
What I was saying to her were merely thoughts and experiences I gained after I merged with the Darkness, who at that time was more of an evil bastard than this woman was. Sure, she could do terrible things, but understanding them with a clear mind was completely different. Then there was something that Tamara told me one time... Light and Darkness in the Universe are two sides of the same coin, which through extension means that they represent the same energy, only viewed from a different point of view, one generated by the intention of doing either good or evil. It was nothing more and nothing else, but simplicity was at the base of every complex superstructure.
“You are speaking a fool’s language! I don’t know what sort of tricks you are using, but once I capture you, I will rip every single secret out of you! Then we’ll see how much longer you can play this game!” she shouted.
“Who knows?” I said and then she realized I was right in front of her.
With a single swing, she slammed her lightsaber into me, but it was stopped by my Magic Armor. I kept looking into her eyes, seemingly unimpressed by the damage her weapon was doing to me. I was able to supply more Magic Energy that it was consuming.
“Kuh! What sort of personal shield is this?!” she screamed out.
The killing intent fog faded away. It did its job, although I could not say whether or not I gained anything from it. I used it on a whim. Right now, I was like a cat playing around with a helpless mouse. This inquisitor was in the palm of my hand, and she was not even aware of it.
“Is this it?” I asked.
“What?” she was probably looking back at me surprised, but I could not see her expression behind her mask.
I grabbed the hand that held the lightsaber and squeezed lightly. The sounds of cracking bones was heard.
“AGH!” she screamed in pain and as a result dropped her lightsaber.
“The Empire acts as though it reigns over the galaxy, but it has yet to even explore it in its entirety, unaware of what sort of big fish are lying in wait for it. The Sith and Jedi are joking around while using the Force and pretending they master it, when in truth, they are just tickling its surface. I’m old enough to know that something as powerful and complex as this mystical energy that you are using can’t truly be understood by you. Yet, you are all struggling to claim that you hold control over it... when you can’t even control yourselves.” I shook my head. “You guys haven’t even thought about the neighboring galaxies and other parts of the Universe from where Empires hundreds of times more powerful and technologically advanced could reside. If you were to step on my planet... you would have died in less than a month.” I told her and then sent her flying to the side.
She rolled on the ground a few times before coming to a stop.
“The Empire will find your planet and reduce it to ash!” she threatened.
“I doubt it. There’s some very scary folk over there, I’m not even the strongest among them.” I shrugged.
The inquisitor held out her hand and pulled her lightsaber back to her. The weapon lit up the moment it touched her hand.
“You don’t know the true might of the Empire! Do you think this old, damaged Star Destroyer is it? This ship was on its last mission before being sent off to a graveyard! They even had to use old, repurposed droids because they did not have enough Stormtroopers!” she laughed.
“Well, that explains the lowered number of crew members.” I nodded.
“The captain of this ship foolishly thought that if he brings a Jedi, he will get to keep this ship.” she scoffed.
“And he won’t, I guess.”
“If he proves his loyalty, he will be given a new ship. This one is still junk!”
“Ah! So, it was his misunderstanding!” I said as I smashed my fist in my palm.
She smirked as she got up.
“You won’t be able to flee this place. Even damaged and in a poor state, the turbolasers can take out that ship!” she pointed her lightsaber at the CR90.
“Well, that is...” I looked back at her and smirked “if they have any turbolaser to fire with.” I then knelt on one knee and placed my hand on the floor.
“What... What are you doing?” she immediately reacted, feeling a tremendous sense of danger.
The Force was probably telling her to get out of there. She reacted fast, without even doubting what she was feeling. There was a nearby TIE Fighter and she jumped to grab hold onto it. Unfortunately for her, it wasn’t a stationary hovering TIE Fighter, it was a docket one... meaning, it was connected to the floor of the ship.
“I hope your suit has its own Oxygen supply.”
“NOOO!” she screamed before the entire Imperial Star Destroyer alongside all the docked ships connected to it, every droid that was walking on its floors, every item touching the surface, with the exception of the CR90 vanished.
One of the largest ships ever built by the Empire, spanning at a length of 1600 meters with a crew of tens of thousands, vanished as if it was nothing but a ridiculously supersized hologram, leaving behind all the humans who were on board. Every single one of them who was not wearing a suit at that time ended up suffocating in the vacuum of space. As for the others, I could see them wiggling around in an attempt to stabilize themselves. The Inquisitor was flying off as a result of her jump towards the TIE Fighter.
I smirked and then used a wind magic to push myself towards the corvette. I grabbed onto it and after looking one more time at that woman, I made my way to the airlock.
Once inside, I felt the ship moving and flying away from that place. The adults who witnessed the event were looking at me with a strange look in their eyes, while the children were smiling and rejoicing.
I approached the cockpit and sat down in the co-pilot seat.
“So, where are we heading?” I asked.
“An unmarked planet I happened to discover during one of my journeys...” she replied and then looked at me. “What are you? How did you do that?” she asked.
“I used magic.” I shrugged. “It’s a skill I possess. By the way, my name is Illsyore Deus, and you are...?” I smiled.
“Shakka Dira... born Shakk’adira.” she replied as she looked back at me.
Her deep green eyes filled with a wisdom beyond her age were mesmerizing, but what was more impressive was that even after she saw me take out an Imperial Star Destroyer in one go, she remained the same. Was this because of her deep connection to the Force?
Turning her gaze back to the front of the ship, Shakka said “After I was captured by the Empire and brought aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer... I received a strange vision from the Force... I saw myself being rescued by a warrior unlike any other, using technology unknown to us, capable of building cities faster than any construction droids and powerful enough to take out an Imperial Star Destroyer without the use of the Force... at the same time... I saw myself dying together with everyone on this ship. The two visions seemed to coexist or more like... they were battling each other for dominance. I guess, in the end, the first vision won.”
While still a fledgling in this Universe, a mysterious stranger who found himself latched onto the side of a giant starship through some unknown means... it made me wonder if I was maybe called here by the Force for some mysterious purpose... maybe rescuing this Twi’lek was the first step? One thing was certain though, my opinions about the Force seemed to have been mostly ignored by these Force users, and I could not blame them. Someone who was not connected to this mysterious energy spoke about it as if he knew it. To some it was ridiculous, while for others, it would have been blasphemous... Maybe it was both?
