~ Side Story: The drunk ghost ~
When I decided to send ten million souls on Ex... Ah! Woops! I almost let the name of the world slip. Silly me~!
Well, no need to worry about it. You’ll never guess it anyway! Hahaha!
Now then, the ten million human beings who up until recently lived on Earth, a world of science, were suddenly sent to a world of sword and magic, where everything they knew was challenged and tested at every step of their way. Their mission was a simple one when looked at it at an individual scale, but whether they could survive or not until the end of their days was really not as important as the changes they put into motion just by... existing there for even a single second.
~ Side Story: The journey of a random hero ~
Hear me now, mortals of this world! In thirty years from now, a warmongering species shall surround your planet and lay waste to your entire civilization!
That was the message of the self-proclaimed God-like entity when it first revealed itself to the population of Earth. The second time was when it literally kidnapped 10 million of us and brought us to some unknown place. I so screamed like a little girl when this happened, but I was fortunate for the fact that I couldn't temporarily control my body. Maybe this was a precaution installed by the God-like to avoid mass panic among us.
~ Side Story: Family ~
Several weeks have passed since the patched-up fleet of the Paramanium Empire was sent back to lick their wounds. The first semester at my Magic Academy had started as well and everything was peaceful right now.
There was no sign of danger or suspicious individuals lurking around. Although I let the Adventurers Guild know they can open an office here and have adventurers sent out to level up in my dungeon, it appeared as though there were still some glitches to be solved.
~ Side Story: What could have been ~
Even now, I remember the moment when I first opened my eyes in this strange new world... I thought like a naive little human, constantly worrying about little things like the lives of those beneath me.
How foolish...
~ Side Story: Felicity ~
“We're under attack! Protect the base!” shouted the pathetic men who were supposed to guard this establishment.
I paid no heed to their cries as I stormed in on horseback. My stallion neighed as it jumped over the small barricade, and with one slash, I ended the life of one of them. The other was met with a pair of hooves to the face.
“Hahaha! Don't keep all the fun to yourself, my Prince!” shouted Braigun, one of my draconian knights.
~ Side Story: The foolish Prince ~
The curse of a Godlike Dungeon Lord was something not even the most powerful of our priests could remove. It was bound to my flesh and the very Magic Energy that flowed within my body. No matter how much I would struggle or for how long, the end result was going to be the same... Unless I satisfied its conditions, I was going to face a most horrible death.
Since that fateful day... six months had come to pass, and many things changed within the Aunnar Kingdom. All political power laid in my brother's hands, while I acted as a Prime Minister. Right now, I saw it as a worthy position for me, but back then my thoughts weren't as such.
~ Side Story: Between sanity and insanity ~
When I came through, I was in the middle of the forest, somewhere far away from Fellyore Magic Academy, or at least what was left of it after my battle with that accursed Dungeon Lord.
My body was cold, and I felt pain everywhere. It was hard to move even a finger, let alone an arm or a leg. My vision was blurry, and I could barely pull the air into my lungs. To make things worse, I was dressed in nothing but the loincloth covering my shame.
~ Side Story: In the arms of an angel ~
Before I begin to tell you my story, I suppose some sort of introduction is required?
My name is Tuberculus Firerage. I am what one may call… a High Mage. To be noted, I am different from an Archmage. The latter is far more powerful version of a Mage who can do what a High Mage can do, but in every magic specialization…
Oh? Yes, I may have strayed a little bit from my story, but I promise you that it was all worth it!
What? Skip to the action? Sigh… Young folk these days have no respect for the elderly…
~ Side Story: What do you mean LAVA on the FIRST FLOOR?! ~ (Part 2)
Once I got rid of the last circle, I attacked the rats, and only after that did I go after my friends. I found Tuberculus groaning from a terrible burn to his face. Apparently, Rufus hit him at point blank with a fireball and singed his beard, mustache, and eyebrows. The poor bastard even managed to step into a fire trap and got the top of his head burned off as well. It was a bit funny to look at him, but it was no laughing matter. I picked him up and followed the trail of dead rats.
~ Side Story: What do you mean LAVA on the FIRST FLOOR?! ~ (Part 1)
“Nyahaha! A dungeon! A dungeon after such a long time! Feels like the good ol’ days, doesn’t it?!” I laughed as I gave Tuberculus a pat on the back.
I was so excited to finally be able to explore an unknown dungeon after so may years that I didn’t care if it was one with 400 floors or just two! Illsy said it had only two, so we were expecting to finish it in two hours or so, maybe three if we looked around a bit more and made a complete map of the place.
~ Side Story: A night of ‘terror’ at the Magic Academy! ~
Now that I remember, this small event actually took place not long after Illsy made Shanteya his slave.
I have to say though, when I first saw that el’doraw woman, my mind went straight to the size of her chest. She had a lovely bosom, but it irked me for some reason. Maybe it was because in my current form I was of a smaller size? Well, at that time, I pretended it didn’t bother me too much, but on the inside was another story. I raged for a few minutes.
~ Side Story: An embrace unlike any other ~
Our numbers were reduced from 40 to 25 as a result of encountering a pack of aggressive monsters of at least Master Rank and then stumbling into a knight escort. It was an unexpected misfortune, but there was no turning back now, we almost reached our target's location.
Among my comrades, I alone was the most injured, but I could still run, I could still fight, I could still kill if ordered to.
~ Side Story: The unlucky Baruga ~
Oh~, how easy it was to look down upon the mortals and claim to know what their sins and joys were. So easy in fact that most gods seemed to have forgotten why they became gods in the first place.
I held no offense against these fellows of mine. They knew not what they did. The same thing happened to me when I created my first world, for only through failure and hardship some of us pesky gods learned, while others were lucky enough to merely listen to our tales to understand what they had to do.
