~ Issue #2: Kraneea ~ (Part 4)
By the time it was almost 3 AM in the morning, she was finally there. The shipment in question was being prepared to be loaded onto the boat with the Dominican Republic flag raised up. There were a lot of hooded men patrolling the area. Each one of them was armed with a gun.
It would be suicide to jump right in the middle of them... Stealth is the key. she thought and then using her back legs, she lifted her body off the ground and then carefully moved through the shadows without making a single sound.
~ Issue #2: Kraneea ~ (Part 3)
The following day, she got up at an early hour and prepared herself to go out into the city again. This time, she was not heading for any nightclub, she was running a bit low on finances, so she wanted to find a job even if it was going to be something temporary. Unlike how it was before, she now knew she had far more confidence in herself and wouldn’t appear as weak or easy to push around as she did in the past.
The old Claire who refused to take care of herself and could never see herself in a good light was now gone. There was no one in the world who could change her except for herself. No one else had that right, that power, she just saw it as unfortunate that it took her so long to realize this.
~ Issue #2: Kraneea ~ (Part 2)
The following day, Claire woke up around 6:00 AM in the morning, more than an hour before her alarm clock went off. In her half-asleep state, she got off the bed by pushing herself with her back-legs and then quite literally moved her body to the bathroom while her human feet were dangling in the air.
With eyes half-closed, she brought herself closer to the mirror and snorted at the sight of her reflection.
“She looks like a bomb went off in her head.” she said and then moved to the shower.
Once inside, she retracted her back-legs and then took a quick cold shower. She didn’t even flinch when the droplets touched her skin.
~ Issue #2: Kraneea ~ (Part 1)
To hope for more… to hope for a change, this in itself was only a dream within a dream.
At least, this was how Claire thought the world around her worked. The busy people of New York who never stopped jumping higher and higher to reach for their dreams up in the sky were nothing more than feeble fools who knew not better.
For Claire, change was the apogee of the ideals of the dreamer who managed to somehow break out of the norm and become someone else, someone better, like a character ripped out of a fairy tale. And all of this was reflected through the way she lived her everyday life.
~ Issue #1: The Wild Cerberus ~
During the rule of Basarab I, in the Northern parts of Wallachia, a lone carriage traveled down the bumpy road towards the small town of Blastika.
AOOO!!!
The wolves called out to their pack mates, letting them know of their position. This innocent howl, however, sent numbing fear in the bones of the humans who heard them. For them, a pack of wolves could only mean danger and death.
“By God, I hope those beasts won’t dare to tread to close to us.” the driver expressed his worry, while the horses neighed in fear.
“Don’t worry! We’ll make sure you’ll stay safe with us!” the warrior inside reassured him as he patted his sheathed sword.
