~ Chapter 134: Blow off some steam ~
As we got closer to the Sharp Talon Gatetown, the road we traveled on was getting increasingly difficult for our horses and carriage. There were many holes in which the wheels could end up getting stuck, and countless boulders had been left too close to the road, forcing us to go around them. Because of this, one of the Supremes had to move ahead and clear the road for us.
When we had around 2 more hours until we reached the Gatetown, but before we did so, Red decided it would be best to stop here and set up camp so that in the morning we would travel fresh.
~ Chapter 133: A moment of hesitation ~
In the end, we rushed to Entalon Town in the hope of avoiding a bad weather that never came in the hope of resting in a good inn, but we were forced by these unforeseen circumstances to camp outside with the refugees instead.
At the crack of dawn, we gathered camp and prepared to leave. As the carriage was set in motion, I looked out the window at the spot by the road where the family of three used to sit. In their place a new group was in the middle of installing themselves there. This time it was a family of four.
~ Chapter 132: The choice of the helpless ~
The journey across the great ocean had been a tiring one for the crew of the ship, mostly because they were traveling on unfamiliar waters and carrying individuals of a high degree of importance. To bring us on the Teslov Kingdom’s waters, they had to make a difficult and unusually long detour from their original route. However, if this was a journey without profit still remained to be seen. It was up to the merchant who owned this ship to decide if there was anything worth buying low in Teslov and selling high somewhere else.
~ Chapter 131: Slick ~
My stay in the Rezalia Kingdom was rather short, no more than a couple of days. I initially wanted it to be no less than two but finding that child’s mother was more complicated than I had initially anticipated.
The men who took her from her home ran an underground illegal slave market. They procured their ‘merchandise’ through special means that on the surface were completely legal, such as debt, duty, or favors.
~ Chapter 130: An average day as a father and a Dungeon ~
Two weeks and three days have passed since I last saw Shanteya, Ayuseya, and Nanya. If I calculated right, then by now they had all reached their respective continents. When they left, they claimed that a mere two months was going to be more than enough for them to complete their individual missions, but this was only IF everything went according to plan. In reality, there were far too many things that could go wrong which would force them in the end to prolong their stay there.
~ Chapter 129: Thoughts scattered in the wind ~
“Let there be booty!” an old disgusting pirate shouted in the Shorayan language while waving his sword in the air.
“Everyone! Stand behind me!” shouted the brave ship captain.
“Them little girls be to me likin’!” said a disgusting man with just one tooth in his mouth and stench that made could make a beggar’s nose rot.
“Nah! I be takin’ the first grab!” said another who looked just as ugly as the previous one.
“Take the kids if ya want, but I want the mommas! Them titties are mine!” said another.
~ Chapter 128: Starting anew in Rezalis ~
I departed from Illsyorea with my mind and heart at peace, but as I sailed farther and farther away from my home, I began to realize just how much I was going to miss my children, my husband, my sister-wives and everyone else. My heart laid heavy with the desire to see them again, but I knew this was my own selfishness.
It has been a very long time since I was last traveling on my own like this, and I felt a bit insecure.
~ Chapter 127: Departure ~
Two days went by since the duel with Dankyun, and I did my best to spend this time together with my wives whenever I wasn’t busy with the Academy. The training area had been repaired, leaving no sign of the devastating attack Ayuseya used. If I left it like that, it would have ended up causing a bit of radiation poisoning in the area, and that was something I wanted to avoid.
Preparing for the journey ahead was probably most taxing on Tamara.
~ Chapter 126: Aftermath ~
It was strange that even though I was one of those Dankyun had wronged when he was alive, I didn’t feel the anger or hate for him as I once did. These feelings had slowly faded away ever since my fate was intertwined with that of my husband’s.
As a High Apostle, I was the closest to Melkuth among all of my Apostle Sisters, but at the same time, I was also the farthest. I prayed to him daily and not even once forgot about my training, but unlike before, my god didn’t send me on strange errands all over the world. There was only one thing he told me to do: stay with Illsyore.
~ Chapter 125: Was it worth it? ~ (Part 2)
We stopped at the center of the island and looked at this man who brought us so much harm. The very thought that I could have ended up as his wife and shared the same bed as him disgusted me to no avail.
What happened back then was part of my dark past, of the time when I was still a Pleyades.
This draconian took advantage of me, of the fact that I was weak and couldn’t defend myself for the single purpose of stepping up on his own imaginary hierarchy. It wasn’t like he was the first in our history to try something ridiculous like this, just the first to resort to such disgraceful tools like curses and torture.
~ Chapter 125: Was it worth it? ~ (Part 1)
The Supremes from Teslov followed us through the town while constantly keeping their eyes on us. They were making sure we weren’t going to try some sort of sneak attack, as if any of us needed something as stupid as that to defeat them. Zoreya was a walking fortress they couldn’t take down no matter what. Tamara was a silent and deadly assassin they could not even see coming. Shanteya was always ready to slice their throats with her daggers, and I was a Godlike Dungeon, enough said.
~ Chapter 124: Once again, we meet ~
The upcoming departure of my wives was an event our students did not really seem too eager to welcome. While they understood that they could not do anything about it, they still expressed their disapproval to show how much they would miss them. Constantly asking why I wasn’t going in their stead made me wonder if my popularity among the younger students was rather low. If it were only the male population, maybe I would have understood why they were so against it, but the girls were also making a big deal out of it.
~ Chapter 123: An average day ~
The family meeting came to an end once it was decided that Nanya, Shanteya, and Ayuseya were all going to go their separate ways to solve the three big problems that could unsettle the peace on our island.
Out of all of them, the most ridiculous one was the Teslov’s King attempt to steal my wife, especially when I thought about the fact that he was her younger brother.
~ Chapter 122: Family meeting ~
I was sleeping peacefully when Shanteya entered my room. Tamara was with me, naked and cuddled in my arms. Her tail was wrapped around my left leg, and her ears were flattened towards the back of her head. While it did not take much for me to wake up when my el’doraw wife called out to me, the sleeping woman in my arms took a bit longer. She had always been the one to sleep in late or pick random hours at which to take a nap.
~ Chapter 121: A mother’s gentle smile ~
“The tree knew not if he should provide the shade for his little friend. If he believed his words, then once he recovered, the monster would eat his roots and let him to rot in the sun.” I said and then turned the page of the children’s book.
“What happened then, mother?” Anette asked curiously as she floated in circles around me.
“Hemwit cwab bad?” little Bachus asked as he looked up at me with teary eyes.
~ Side Story: Family ~
Several weeks have passed since the patched-up fleet of the Paramanium Empire was sent back to lick their wounds. The first semester at my Magic Academy had started as well and everything was peaceful right now.
There was no sign of danger or suspicious individuals lurking around. Although I let the Adventurers Guild know they can open an office here and have adventurers sent out to level up in my dungeon, it appeared as though there were still some glitches to be solved.
~ Chapter 120: The beginning of the First Year ~
After I gathered the surviving crew of the Paramanium Empire fleet, I made Emperor Aldembard Paramanium and his Prime Minister Roderick Zalun sign a decree through which the empire declared its neutrality towards me and everything on my Dungeon Territory. The reason why it wasn't the island itself was because this patch of land was going to be expanded in the future and had yet to receive an official name. Once it did, I could use it instead of myself.
~ Chapter 119: Under attack ~
It has been over a month since the Godlike Dungeon Lord Illsyore has been last spotted in the Paramanium Empire in the Ilia Port City. By now, father was embarking on the flag ship of our naval fleet and preparing a huge armada to intercept and presumably defeat this powerful entity.
During the time my family was preparing for war, I managed to persuade and stop several important noble families from participating in this crusade.
~ Chapter 118: The beginning of hope ~
Out of all the slaves we brought with us from the Paramanium Empire, only seven wished to be set free and left off in another country. As I had promised, I set sail for Allasn Continent, where I dropped off five of them, four from the old ones and one from the recently acquired ones. The last two were dropped off on the Northern shore of the Sorone continent, from where they headed off to their own families.
~ Chapter 117: Escaping from Paramanium ~
I let out a sigh as I looked at the bodies of the adventurers and dead soldiers on the ground. They had a chance to back down even after witnessing my power. Normally, other individuals would have went after their families as well or brought up endless destruction on their hometown, but I wasn't like that. Such an individual knew only how to abuse his power and act like a monster.
